30 September - Madonna, cat & cleavage on show in new D&G
pix
Just in case anyone needed reminding, Madonna has once again set
out to prove she's not letting age change her ways.
The 52-year-old has posed for yet another racy Dolce&Gabbana
advert, this time while wearing an incredibly low-cut black body
suit and hold-up stockings.
Accessorised with sunglasses, a crucifix and a red string Kabbalah
bracelet, she prowls around an unmade bed with her cleavage threatening
to spill out of her lingerie.
In another frame, she reclines on white sheets accompanied by a
black and white cat.
Madonna struck up a friendship with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana
while she was filming Dick Tracy
in the early Nineties and they were invited to designer her costumes
for The Girlie Show
tour in 1993.
The Italian designer duo announced their new collaboration with
Madonna last year, which came after she spent her birthday with
the pair on-board this yacht in Italy last August.
They said at the time: 'To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream
come true.'
Madonna has since launched a fashion label of her own with her teen
daughter Lourdes called Material Girl. (source: Daily

23 September - Madonna has a new
stalker
Madonna's alleged stalker, retired fire-fighter Robert Linhart,
has insisted he won't stop turning up at her New York home until
he gets to meet the pop superstar.
Madonna's alleged stalker claims he won't stop pursuing her until
he meets the singer.
Retired fire-fighter Robert Linhart - who has been arrested twice
since Saturday (18.09.10) - was arraigned in court yesterday (22.09.10)
on charges of criminal mischief, graffiti and being in possession
of a homemade 7.5 inch ice pick, after writing messages to the pop
superstar on the pavement outside her apartment in Upper West Side,
New York City.
The messages read "Meet me please", "Tell me yes
or no" and "If it's yes, my dream will come true. If it's
no, I will go."
According to court documents, he reportedly told officers after
his arrest on Tuesday (21.09.10): "I can be here. This is police
brutality. I have a right to do this. I am not doing anything wrong.
"I keep running into Madonna. I saw her in 1992 and I'd actually
like to meet her in person. I won't stop until I actually meet Madonna.
"I'm going to go right back there and do it again."
This followed his earlier arrest on Saturday, where he played loud
music out of his car and was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly
conduct and criminal possession of a weapon.
He appeared in front of Manhattan Court Judge Frank Nervo yesterday,
where the judge set Linhart's bail at $20,000 - double the sum originally
suggested by prosecutors.
However, Madonna has confessed she isn't worried about Linhart's
behaviour and actions.
When asked if she was scared for her safety, she replied: "No."
Linhart's lawyer Sheryl Bader has defended her client's actions,
claiming he has done nothing wrong.
She said: "There was no threatening conduct. My understanding
is it's not a crime to adore Madonna. If it were, the court would
be a lot more crowded." (source: ContactMusic)
23 September - Madonna & Lourdes
launch Material Girl clothing line
Madonna and her rocker-chic daughter Lourdes Ciccone hit the Macy's
pink carpet in New York on Wednesday evening (22Sep10) to promote
their clothing line.
The pair has collaborated on the new Material Girl collection, which
will be available in the store this autumn (10), and Madonna told
reporters she's very proud of what her teenage daughter has helped
her create.
She says, "She has a good sense of style and I think we complement
each other... I'm very proud."
Lourdes adds, "There's definitely clashes but it all works
out because she has great style."
The teen, dressed in a Joan Jett-like leather jacket, admits that
like most young girls, she worships her mum's style, but she can
no longer walk in her shoes - literally.
Lourdes explains, "It's so annoying because my feet skipped
her shoe size." (source: ContactMusic)
21 September - Liz Smith: Madonna
filming in Central Park "Can't we get this crane any higher?
Why won't this crane do as I say?!"
That was a frustrated but still merry Madonna last Friday in Central
Park, directing the final day of shooting her labor of love, W.E.
Madonna as director seems to have found herself – another reinvention.
She was dressed in running shoes, an unglamorous tracksuit, with
her hair pulled up and sporting prim eyeglasses. She wore no makeup.
For all the unflattering photos the tabloids and gossip sites love
to use, she looked quite fresh. (Maybe not working out as much helps?)
Madonna was in full control but apparently getting along with her
entire crew, many of whom were British. (Take that, Guy Ritchie!)
"She's nothing like I expected," said one member of the crew. "Not
only does she know what she's doing, she's nice about it. And when
she doesn't know, she doesn't pretend – she listens and absorbs."
Another said: "This has been a good experience for her, I'd say
it was No Drama Madonna."
Two of Madonna's female stars were on hand, Abbie Cornish, looking
sexy in stiletto heels and a cinched trench coat, and Andrea Riseborough,
who was costumed and made up to resemble the late Duchess of Windsor,
in a gray suit. The likeness was uncanny. (The movie switches back
and forth between the love story of Wallis Simpson and King Edward
VIII – who gave up his throne for her – and a modern-day tale of
a girl who identifies with the Duchess.)
At one point, a nearby band was noisily rehearsing for a concert
in the park. Madonna pulled off her headphones, jogged toward the
Bandshell (followed by 15 crewmembers and about 200 onlookers).
She asked the band if they could hold off for about an hour. "I'll
be done by then, I promise." She returned to the set giggling, "You
know what they were called? Ween. I don't know, I think I'm just
overtired, I find that hilarious." One of the crew asked how she'd
gotten them to stop. "Well, I had to beat them up. We had a big
rumble. Everybody knows what a tough broad I am."
Yeah, tough. All five feet four of her. She looked more like an
elf than one of the most iconic showbiz figures of all time. (source:

~ After filming in Paris, London & NYC, some sources say the
filming is now wrapping up. The next few months, there'll be post
production, so the movie premiere and its promotion can be expected
in 2011.
