Song

This was one of the first songs from Music fans heard about. In an interview during the production of the album Mirwais said "We worked on this song called 'I Deserve It' and I really like it, I think it's one of the best of the album."
This song is clearly dedicated to 'the Guy that was meant for her'. Performing in London she explicitly dedicated the song to her husband.
In one interview however Madonna was asked if she had written a song for her son Rocco and she answered "Well, 'I Deserve It' could be about him."

Tour

During the Drowned World Tour in Barcelona, I was standing front row on the right corner of the stage when Madonna rose out of the stage, sitting on a few bales of hay. Playing the acoustic guitar she sang I Deserve It, which was really touching. When she performed it in London she dedicated the song to her husband Guy Ritchie, "the coolest guy in the universe". Remember she once dedicated the True Blue album to "her husband, the coolest guy in the universe", but that was a different husband!
