song was originally intended for other artists but Madonna got a
hold of it and recorded it with producer DJ Frank E as one of the
bonus tracks for her 2009 greatest hits album Celebration.
Hip hop megastar Lil Wayne features in the track. It was released
as a digital single on December 14th in the UK, with the main version
remixed by David Guetta & Akon featuring in a bonus Celebration
remix. The European release of the physical single came out on February
5th, 2010 (16th in the US), with more remixes by Paul van Dyk &
Tracy Young. No music video was made for this single.
Tour On the
MDNA Tour, Madonna turned her final Warner single into a Girl Power tune. Flanked by her female squad, she strikes
a series of gun poses throughout the performance. The background video by Moment Factory shows a range of black-on-black crops, liquids, body curves and
exploding objects. At the end, Lil Wayne brings his part on the big screen. Though some fans would have preferred a different setlist choice such as
Beautiful Killer, Revolver set the tone for the violent Transgression segment of the tour. |
