Personal life

Madonna and Carlos appear as the happy couple when she accepts a golden globe for her role in Evita. But Carlos is coping bad with the price of fame - something that caused the trouble with Sean and many others of Madonna's former lovers. Soon they start growing apart.
In September Madonna meets actor Andy Bird and they start a rather insecure relationship, that seems destined to fail - again. They break up a few months later. Rumour has it that the song Beautiful Stranger is about him.
