A thumping heartbeat fills the venue at the Sticky & Sweet Tour. At each beat, Madonna - crashed down on stage after the intense Into The Groove - gradually rises up. Her dancers put her in place and support her as she stumbles on and starts singing. Walking on the conveyor belt, they continue to control her every move as if she were a puppet. But then she manages to break free, showing her booty get down. She takes over control, pushing the dancers away. As she grows stronger, the heart flashing on the screen turns brighter. During the fierce outro, she totally lets loose and dances like mad. Monte gives the finishing touch with a magnificent guitar solo, which flows into Borderline. Perhaps a nice wink to her early days in NYC, when she had to learn how to walk and get her booty down. On the 2009 leg, this perfomance was replaced by Holiday, with a few details remaining.
