Budapest - 22 August - I'm tired of waiting for you... NO, I'M NOT!!!
I already saw Madonna in Vienna, but this concert was much better! I also think Madonna herself enjoyed it more than last year's show (yeah, remember the Dress You Up fiasco!). When we waited outside the entrance we could already hear her rehearsing, later we even had the chance to see her playing the guitar on stage. That was so great! The booing during the long waiting was horrible and I was afraid that she would cancel the show. But I wanted to enjoy the concert, so I waited patiently. And as I expected Madonna DID turn the show into a great experience!
I was in the Silver area, so I had a great view of the stage and Madonna all the time. Last year I could hardly see her at all. I read that the audience in the Gold area stayed rather calm in the beginning of the show BUT people around me were definitely more passionate. Especially the Hungarian women were dancing and singing and clapping all the time.
The Pimp part was so sexy, I loved the dancing in Vogue and the sight of Madonna's sexy behind during Beat Goes On. Human Nature was so much better than in Vienna, since the guitar sounded better. But the sound was generally of higher quality. The Old School part was funny, I love seeing her with hotpants and heart-shaped glasses (I wore mine too of course!). The ethnic sound of the Gypsy part was perfect for Hungary, the music went straight into everyone's hearts. You Must Love
Me was once again one of the best songs. I really enjoyed the Rave part, which didn't like at all in Vienna. Frozen was a great substitute for Hung Up. Ray Of Light was one of her best performances, along with the other guitar songs. She put so much power into it, I could really feel her energy.
In the end my whole body hurt and I was all wet from the sweating AND the rain... so I guess the waiting was worth it! I hope I'll get the chance to see her again. Maybe in Vienna, Budapest or Bratislava?

Munich - 20 August - Sticky & Sweet deserves another chance I had already attended the 2008 leg of the Sticky and Sweet Tour in Berlin (see review below) and back then, I really didn't like it very much. So when I heard that she would do a second tour leg, I wasn't exactly thrilled. But after watching many youtube videos (especially the DVD edits from Buenos Aires) I discovered many things I liked about the show so I decided to give it another chance.
Boy, am I glad I did!!! I LOVED the show last night and all disappointment from Berlin is gone, I couldn't be happier about that. :-)
So, what was different? Well, this time I had a seat ticket (with a pretty good view) and I was not standing up-close to the stage. And that provided a whole different sound experience. Last year, being very close to the stage, it was so loud it almost killed my ears and the bassline was just so overwhelming that I just couldn't hear the melodies properly. It was crazy! All I heard was the bass and when I saw the youtube videos I was surprised by how different the song arrangements sounded. Last night, the songs sounded like they do on youtube and those arrangements are pretty good. I still prefer Stuart Price as an arranger and yes it was all very hip-hop, but good arrangements.
For example, I absolutely love the version of Into The Groove, the performance is so much fun and the arrangement is a lot richer than what I had experienced back then.
Madonna was in a very good and playful mood last night (despite quite a lot of empty seats, please come back to Germany with your next tour despite that, M!) and seemed to enjoy herself. I liked all the changes she did to the show: most of all that she got rid of that awful rock version of Hung Up!!! Dress You Up worked much better than Borderline in my opinion and I enjoyed to hear Holiday again. I enjoyed the first three segments of the show a lot, only the rave segment is not quite my taste.
I still love She's Not Me and La Isla Bonita, You Must Love Me is still amazing (though she had the most weird smile on her face while singing, was she a bit embarrassed by the intimacy!?!?). I grew to love Vogue and Into The Groove, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You is a great and quiet performance and Miles Away was also very lovely. It seemed like she didn't spend so much time playing guitar this time and when she did, I enjoyed it most of the time: Human Nature is a fantastic version! But Ray Of Light... very hard to do live and I think we've seen enough of it for a while.
Overall, the 2 hours flew by in a glimpse and I just really enjoyed myself a lot. Thank you Madonna!

Madrid - 23 July - Estoy Caliente! I was supposed to go to Marseille's concert, but when the concert was cancelled I knew I had to do something to see her (I'm from Venezuela and I was traveling Europe at the time so I couldn't lose my chance to see the Queen), so as far as I could I bought my tickets to the Madrid show... The day of the show I arrived at 10 am and after a very long and hot wait I entered the stadium almost at 7pm, and got a place in front row (left -lateral), Paul Oakenfold began at 8:30 and Jesus Luz was dancing around, he was wearing a white t-shirt a leather jacket and dark pants... At exactly 10 pm the Queen was on her throne, it was so exciting seeing her... When she ended Candy Shop she talked to us in Spanish saying HOLA MADRID!!! Those were the first Spanish words she spoke, she also said "ESTOY CALIENTE" ("I'm hot") later on the show... the show went on without any inconvinience everything was perfect and so was Madge, on Holiday and MJ tribute people went crazy... everybody scresmed oooa oooa oooa... During She's Not Me instead of telling "bitch" to the Material Girl lookalike she called her "PUTA" ("bitch" in Spanish... so gooooood!!! ) then when she destroyed all of them she wore the Like A Virgin veil and put an innocent face so funny!!
The other highlight was during the end of Doli Doli when everybody was screaming MADONNA MADONNA she looked so pleased and took time to talk to the crowd she explained what "lela pala tute" means, and called us hot latin lovers hahahaha... She also said that this was her favorite part of the show since it's the only time she has to stop for a while...
In the last segment my favorite song was Frozen (loved it) and of course Give It 2 Me... At the end she came down from stage and became face to face with her fans (including myself!!!!!!) it was so so so exciting seeing her face to face... I think that words cannot decribe that feeling!!!!!!!
Finally the show was over and Michael Jackson's 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' was the song that was played as everybody was leaving the Vicente Calderon Stadium...

Buenos Aires - 08 December - Te Amamos Madonna!
It's raining!! Before the last show starts! We had to wait till
the technicians cleaned the wet stage. We were very scared, we thought
the show would be cancelled :(. But we felt safe when the lights
went off and the show started!
The show was very much the same as yesterday!! Less the ''Madonna!
Madonna Madonna Madonna'' of last night.
The circle screen was now fixed and the technicians didn't have
to worry about that :P aside from the little rain.
It was the most crowded show! But the audience answered better last
night! After Don't
Cry For Me Argentina! She sent us the most beautiful kiss with
her right hand where we get very touched!
I didn't record anything, no photos and no videos... to enjoy the
entire show not to worry about any camera!! I was on 'campo trasero'
and I saw many people from all over Latin America: Bolivia, Venezuela,
Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Panama, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil,
Ecuador, said: IM HERE for Madonna at the River Plate Stadium! I
think its because originally was the first show which went on sale,
I went with a ''LATINS DO IT BETTER T-SHIRT'' and it was very right!
Latins did it better!!
TE AMAMOS MADONNA! GRACIAS MAD-EYES.NET

Buenos Aires - 07 December - If only my mother could see me now
I'm here to tell you something about the third show at the River
Plate Stadium. I was in the Vip Section finally, so I would be able
to see our Queen closer. We stayed under the sun for 5 hours, but
at 6:00 pm the doors were finally opened.
Paul Oakenfold started to play as always the same set list. I could
get an excellent place to stay in the front row, right in front
of the catwalk. Guy Oseary was walking to check everything before
the concert because it will be the first of the two shows filmed
for the upcoming DVD. There was eight movie cameras flying all over
the audience. When Paul Oakenfold finished playing, there was an
announcement in Spanish to the audience letting us know that the
dvd will be filmed that night, so we have to give the best to Madonna
and scream and enjoy the concert the best we can.
Finally the lights went off and the audience waited long to see
Madonna come out for the third time! Candy Shop started
perfect, everyone was singing along with Mad, at the end she said
again: What's new Buenos Aireeeess?!!, and Beat
Goes On started, the performance was perfect. Fans near the
stage like me, had some problems to see the show beacuse of the
big cameras which didn't let us watch the show as we wished, but
the energy of our Queen was the best one! Human Nature and Vogue
were also perfect, fans was very excited, and the rest of the show
was the same as the previous two days. When Human
Nature started to play she asked in Spanish: Te Gusta??.. we
said Yes!...and she answered: A mi tambien.!
In You Must Love
Me the first violin notes started to play and she interrupted:
fifteen years... too long right??... never again right?? ....ok,
one more time, and started the song again.
In the Get Stupid
video interlude, the circle screen had some problems, and the technicians
tried to fix it, but they couldn't, so they let the song continue
with some little lights off.
After Ray Of Light and
before the request song we started to scream: Madonna! Madonna!
Madonna! and she said: What is that??...and after few seconds she
answered: I Love You! I Love You!.. Argentina! Argentina! and then:
Thank You, Thank You to say that!.... I love to hear that name,
because it was the name of my mother!.. Thank You!.. I know if my
mother were watching me right now she would be very proud! ...and
this is by far, my favorite show, ever!! I'm very greatful!.. Thank
You!...and this is the part of the show, where we get together,
and sing a song together!. Is that what you'd like??...have you
had enough??...we said: nooo! (haha) Do you want some more!!???..we
said: Yes!.....And then she asked the same guy, Tomas the request
song, and he choose the same one, Like
A Virgin!...most of us said no.!!! but she continued!...so we
had to sing Like A Virgin
again!. It was great!
After the request song she added: Now! we officially sang a song
together! give yourself a big hand!! and Hung Up started, to finish
with Give it 2
Me where she when out of the stage again!!.
It was the best show in Buenos Aires by far!
~ Nico
Buenos Aires - 07 December - The biggest and loudest crowd so far
Hi mad-eyes team! The third concert had the biggest and the loudest
crowd so far. Before the show a presenter said that the DVD was
going to be filmed tonight, but she made a a few mistakes while
singing Miles Away
and Like APrayer, so
I guess that they're going to take some songs from tomorrow's show.
She repeated many times how happy she was of being back after so
many years. The request song was Like
A Virgin again. Before the request, the crowd started singing
"Madonna, Madonna" and she replied "Argentina, Argentina".
Then she said that she liked what we were singing because that's
her mother's name. She also said that tonight's show was her best
show ever. I had a great time. Tomorrow it's the final show and
she's leaving for Chile after that. Greets!

Buenos Aires - 05 December - Don't fuck with me!
Hello Again, Mad-Eyes.net friends!
The second show in Buenos Aires was almost the same than yesterday!
The show started again at 10:00pm. I Had a General ticket so I was
very far away from our Queen, but I had a different view of the
show, I could see everything and I could film the entire show!!
Paul Oakenfold played the same songs as yesterday and the crowd
was better than yesterday!
The Die Another Day
interlude was perfect this time, not like yesterday where the dancers
had to perform the song without the ring. On Borderline
someone threw something on stage and she said "Motherfucker!"
in the middle of the lyrics, but the crew quickly picked it up.
When the song finished she said "Don't fuck with me" :(
She sang Don't
Cry For Me Argentina after You
Must Love Me, with the Argentinean flag, the most emotional
part of the show again. The best crowd performance was on Like
A Prayer, we could feel the stadium structure move along with
the jumping people. We waited for her to say something about performing
on a friday night for the first time, but she didn't.
Next to the stadium there was a celebration of a soccer team with
a lot of fireworks lighting the audience, while the Rain interlude
was on scene, luckily it was a beautiful effect to hear the fireworks
outside the stadium with the sound of the storm before Devil
Wouldn't Recognize You.
After Ray Of Light
the request song was Express
Yourself, she asked the reuest to a girl from front row side
who had the tittle written on a paper.
On Give It 2 Me
she went down from the stage to the audience near the catwalk to
sing along with the finale song. It was a little surprise cause
she almost never does that (I think that will be part of the DVD).
She said goodbye with a "Good Night Buenos Aires!", and
the Game Over sign appeared.
Tomorrow Vip Section and the 3th show is waiting for me! Soon more
news! On saturday night, Madonna plans to go to a Evita
Musical in Theater.
~ Nico
Buenos Aires - 04 December - Habla Argentina?
The first Madonna show in Buenos Aires was absolutely amazing! I
had the 'campo trasero' ticket which is like general admission,
behind the vip section.
The show started 2 hours late. The original schedule said the show
would start at 8:00 pm, but at that time there is still sunlight,
so we had to wait till the night comes to start the big show. Before
that, some dancers came out on stage to take pictures and the vip
section crowd answered well. Paul [Oakenfold] started playing at
8:30 p.m. and played for about 1 hour.
When the nigh came, we started to get nervous. Stadium lights went
off, big noise from everyone! Tic Toc Tic Toc Tic Toc and noise.
We could barely hear the intro song because of the big noise and
emotion from the fans. The big screen turned around and our Queen
was there! Candy
Shop was like all shows, in the middle of Beat
Goes On she said THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT ARGENTINA! And
that beautiful car appeared with the dancers. Another big noise
came with Vogue, the whole
stadium was singing along as she likes, the first part of the show
was over and Madonna went out happy with a big smile on her face.
On the second part of the show she wore the usual black jacket,
and on She's Not
Me she kissed the Like A Virgin Girl and finally Music with
the singing along again! On Spanish
Lesson the typical Habla Español??? and a 'Habla Argentina?'
and the crowd went mad! On Miles
Away everyone was singing along the lyrics.
When she sang You Must
Love Me, I was crying and recording it on video, the crowd went
crazy when the Evita images
appeared on the screens. Not everyone knew the lyrics, only the
fans on the vip section! But the big big surprise came when she
was singing the last part of You
Must Love Me: 'scared to confess what im feeliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing
(big noise)...... Frightened you'll slip away.......... (and she
started to sing Don't
Cry For Me Argentina).... It Won't be easy....... and the Argentinean
flag on all screens!. She said: SING ALONG WITH ME ARGENTINA!....
That was very special for all fans on River Plate Stadium! Personaly
I couldn't imagine that she would add another song to the setlist
that is not on the request parft! With that addition she bought
herself all fans in the Stadium. It was the most beautiful and special
part of the concert for me.
The song finished with the screen with the Argentinean flag behind
her, while she disappeared when the Evita film images appeared after
all.
The last part of the show was the second best one, everyone sang
4 Minutes, Like
A Prayer, and Ray Of Light
was the loudest one, and she sang Like
A Virgin as request song from a boy from front row named Thomas.
Everyone was clapping and singing the lyrics, but she said: I Know
You can do better than that! Give It 2 Me
was the big final, and she said a simple: ''Thank you, good night'
when the Game Over appeared on the screens.
At the end, everyone went out with a big happiness after being with
the Queen of Pop. Fans from all over Latin America were at the concert.
Some had problems with the change of schedule of some dates. But
waiting so long had its price.
Tonight we had the second date, for which we had a General ticket.
The rumors between fans on the lines says that the filmed show for
the DVD will be this weekend on Dec 7th (which I have VIP Section
tickets for) and Mon 8th.

Buenos Aires - 04 December - Don't cry for me, Argentina
Hello friends from Mad-Eyes! I've just come back from M's first concert in Buenos Aires. The place was packed
(an estimated 66.000 crowd) and the fans were really enthutiastic. She sounded great and the entire show was
technically perfect. Before Miles Away she said she was glad of
being back to Argentina and invited all of us to sing along. The big surprise of the night came after
You Must Love Me, when she started singing
Don't Cry For Me Argentina and Argentinian flags
were shown in the screen. During the request section, she asked the audience which song she should sing. A
guy called Tomás chose Like A Virgin and she did it. It
was an excellent show. Can't wait for the second round.

Mexico - 29 November - Bouncing from the highest row of the
Foro
What can i say? The Mexican shows were wonderful!!! We all were
very excited!!!
They started a little late and some of the people started getting
for it, but when Paul Oakenfold's performance started, all the people
began to enjoy, and even more when his performance finished which
meant the show was even closer to get started... With the first
glittering lights and the first beats all the crowd turned mad and
screamed...
When she spoke about feeling glad of being back in Mexico after
so much time and feeling good about starting the Latin American
part of the show here in Mexico, all people cheered and shouted
out loud...
I really loved both shows, although I think I liked more the first
one because of the speech of being back in Mexico, I think she should
say something similar for the people who just were at the second
one... anyway both of them were amazing!! Especially when singing
Ray Of Light... it was
great feeling all the people around were bouncing and singing (me
included lol)
I think the songs that people enjoyed the most were Vogue,
Music, La
Isla Bonita, and the last five, I think it was the more acclaimed
segment.
Unfortunatelly we couldn't get the tickets we wanted and we were
close to having no tickets at all!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the first show
we were at the general area of the Foro Sol just behind the Platinum
area and that's why we were bouncing with all the people, and on
the second one we were (literally) in the highest row!!!! (lol)
When we bought the tickets we didn't notice where our seats were
and we were joking about being at the highest part of the Foro (lol)
it was funny when we were searching for our seats and found out
that we were in fact in the last row... although it wasn't bad at
all, since I had a different perspective and it allowed me to see
some things I didn't notice in the previous show.
Another part of the show that was very enjoyed by the people was
the contest part. In the first show the first suggestion won a "go
home", I think it was Deeper
And Deeper, and the second one was Sorry
which was the winner. On the second show, the contest was a little
bit longer since the first two songs were rejected by Madonna and
one of them deserved a "fuck you" (lol) which made the
crowd laugh. If I remember correctly the first two choices were
Cherish and Hollywood
and the third one -being the winner- was Express
Yourself.
Another highlight was right after Devil
Wouldn't Recognized You finished and she started Spanish
Lesson, saying some words in spanish drove all the people crazy
cheering and screaming...
I think everyone enjoyed a lot and wished she won't take so much
time to get back... A lot of people were expecting a third show
in Mexico City and even one at Monterrey or Guadalajara since there
were some gossips about it, however since there were only two dates,
there were people from every Mexican city, we were close to people
who came from Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, Guerrero... etc...
and the most of them were going to get back to their city right
after the show...

Mexico - 29 November - The best show I've seen
Ii went to see Madonna on November 29th in Mexico City and I can say this is the best show I've seen in my whole life! She was in a great mood, the request song was Sorry and everyone was singing along with her. My favorite songs on live were Like A Prayer, Music, She's Not Me, Sorry, Vogue, 4 Minutes and You Must Love Me.
~ Sara
Mexico - 29 November - The waiting's over, and the Queen said
Hola Mexico!
At the time of the Girlie Show
I was too young to attend, it didn't seem something terrible until
I realized Mexico was not included for Drowned
World, Re-Invention
nor Confessions Tours,
that made almost obligatory to be in the Sticky
& Sweet shows for Mexico.
People were so enthusiastic to finally attend the Queen's show,
and so was I! My first plan was to attend the 29 Nov show but I
changed my mind and assisted to 30 Nov show too. Madonna fans around
Foro Sol were really happy to see her and enjoyed every song and
celebrated every comment from her.
It was a technically wonderful show, people were amazed about dancers,
lighting effects, the big screens and of course about the good Madonna
performance on stage. It seems she was in a good mood, she even
commented before the request song for 29 nov show that we should
take the chance to ask her for a song since she doesn't come here
often (we noticed that for sure, hehe).
My favorite songs of the show were Miles
Away and Vogue - which
people confused with 4
Minutes at first. People clapped and cheered a lot, the Die
Another Day and Rain
interludes were really enjoyed by the crowd. The most awaited song
was without a doubt 4
Minutes. Since I actually assisted to the 29 nov show, I didn't
expected Justin Timberlake to appear on stage, but something funny
happened in the second show since many people around me started
shouting when they heard Justin's voice, they really believed he
was there (it only was for a second until they noticed it was only
a moving screen, but it was a funny moment for sure!)
I cannot compare Sticky and Sweet show with previous shows since
none of them was performed here, but I can say it was an unbelievable
experience. The crowd was thankful and impressed. We were waiting
for this show for a long time and for sure it pays a lot for this
15 years of absence. I was so far away from the stage so all my
pictures are blurry and don't deserve to be shown, instead of that,
I made a composite image from 4 pictures I took to show the Foro
Sol adorned with those big M letters, nice jewels for a big Queen,
GRACIAS and come back soon!
~ Antonio
Philadelphia - 20 November - Even better than Confessions Tour
And I thought the Confessions tour was my favorite, Sticky & Sweet was far more better! Confessions sparkles in it's own light, but man oh man I haven't felt this good in years! I actually couldn't sleep after the concert cuz I was so riled up with excitement! Yes, the show did start 90+ minutes late but I really don't think it was Madonna's fault. I did see a stagehand do about 9000 sound checks so something was clearly wrong. Madonna's voice sounded a whole lot better this tour than last.
Don't really have any least favorites but my absolute favorites were Candy Shop, Human Nature, Borderline and Vogue. In fact, I guess the entire first segment was my favorite. I know we don't go to the shows for interludes but the Rain interlude was an absolute joke. Sure, the animation was great, but ditch the Annie Lennox part. Let us hear Rain even if it is a pre-recorded interlude! You Must Love Me - geez, this was the best part of the show... and to hear Get Stupid afterwards-man that really got me pumped up for the final segment. LOVED the stage setup this tour with the cylindrical light thingy in the center. NICE effect in Devil Wouldn't Recognize You. When I first read that a lot of the songs were going to have a lot of other tunes mixed in with them (i.e. Like A Prayer) I was a bit nervous thinking it'd be "too much." But I was wrong! Everything seemed to blend in nicely.
In closing all I have to say is I hope to GOD there is going to be a DVD/CD release of this tour similar to the Confessions Tour. If there isn't I will be absolutely heartbroken... just HEARTBROKEN. I was waiting for this show to come since I got the tix in April and it finally has come and gone. When the night was over I had that feeling you get after opening Christmas presents. Sigh, it's all over. That's why I hope a DVD release is in the works. Can't wait to see her again on her next tour!!!
~ Steve
Philadelphia - 20 November - She keeps getting even better with age
I went to the show last night here in Philly and it was amazing. She was 90 minutes late and did not come on stage until 9:30pm.This is the 4th show of hers that I have seen and she never comes onstage before 9:00pm so that was expected. I loved the reworked versions of the older hits-Human Nature, Vogue (my favorite), Borderline, Into The Groove, Like A Prayer and La Isla Bonita. I was hoping to hear Express Yourself and Holiday, but no such luck. Maybe on her next tour. I just hope she retires La Isla Bonita and Ray Of Light after this tour. Those songs are getting old and boring. She is like a bottle of wine, she keeps getting even better with age. The request song Dress You Up was a real treat. Unlike most of the other shows, she only sings a few lines, but last night, she did the whole song. She was in a great mood and very talkative with the crowd. I think she was happy, because everyone was dancing and having a great time. That was a suprise. The news songs from Hard Candy were really cool being performed live Candy Shop, Beat Goes On, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You, Miles Away, 4 Minutes and She's Not Me. During She's Not Me, I loved the dancers dressed up as her through the years-very cool. I am already looking forward to seeing her again when she tours again in 2-3 years.
~ Richard
Toronto - 19 October - Early start
Just got home from the Oct. 19 show.
She started already @ 8.39 and was in a great mood and keep shout out to Toronto. Dress You Up was the song she sang during the acapella session.
The crowd went wild during You Must Love Me and Like A Prayer. Borderline was better than expected and so was Ray Of Light.
I was 2 of the Confessions shows in London and Ray Of Light was horrible there - or at least the venue was crappy (Wembly Area).
Her voice was little shaky during Vogue and Heartbeat.
~ Boli
Athens - 27 September - Best f***ing show ever (if only there were no guitars)
I went to Madonna's concert on Saturday 27th September and I have to admit I was awestruck! Nothing like
this has ever taken place here in Greece and it was the ultimate blast!!!
At 9:20 pm the lights turned off! You could hear a whole stadium screaming like crazy! The intro
video started and the crowd would not stop screaming! It was time for the Madonna show!
Candy Shop was a really good opening! It was
pretty colourful, as was the whole show! I think a lot of the excitement that the audience
gets while watching the show is, except for the Queen, the excellent work the lightening
people and the video makers have done!!! Then it was time for Beat
Goes On which was fun! Really fun! But just that (at least until the car turned up)! I think that
was the concept anyway! Then it was time for "It's Britney Bitch"! Human
Nature was all about Britney! Nobody really paid any attention to Madonna's guitar thing!
The Vogue came with the excellent mash-up with 4 Minutes!
Anyway, the highlights of the show were: Vogue,
Into the Groove (it was reaaal fun the crowd went mad),
Music (it definitely made the people come together),
Devil Wouldn't Recognize You (one of
the most perfect moments of the show, excellent performance! I thought it was genius!!!),
La Isla Bonita (that was a blast!!!!!) and above
all Like A Prayer (this song played in just the right
time!!! it was PERFECT! you could see about 76000 people jumping singing along it still gives me chills!),
Ray Of Light and then Give
It 2 Me!
Luckily enough, no technical errors occurred! Madonna was flawless! 5 minutes before the show it was
drizzling! When the lights went down, it stopped! It was Madonna time!
She was really funny! Remembarable quotes were: "The Queen will topple the King", "Is
this the best f***ing show you 've ever seen?", "F*** your boyfriend, suck your boyfriend,
f*** your boyfriend, suck your boyfriend", "Let's try this one more time motherf***ers"
It is a pity I couldn't find tickets for the Arena! I would have had much more fun!
Generally it really was great! Though I do acknowledge that it cannot be compared by any means to her
two previous tours. Especially the Confessions tour! The Greek
crowd went mad and was thrilled because most of us Greeks have never had the opportunity to attend a
Madonna show before! Not any real show actually! But Confessions was
.....! I think it's a show nothing ever will manage to top!
I think one of the biggest disadvantages of the Sticky and Sweet Tour was
the whole guitar thing! What is it with the guitars? She played the guitar at least 5 times! The
whole playing-the-guitar-with-Madonna was funny at first but it has gotten a bit old! She is a
POP artist! She has nothing to do with rock! I mean what was that
shitty Hung Up rock version?! I think that song was the
most sold single of her whole career and now everybody hates it! If Madonna were to do another tour,
she should just drop the guitar thing! That she cannot do well! It's not her!!!
Anyway, i had a great time! And Madonna really IS the Queen of Pop!!!
~ Alex
Vienna - 23 September - Madonna, ich liebe dich!
First of all, it's true. The Austrian audience was horrible! People didn't sing along and welcomed the queen very coldly. Probably because of the bad wheather, everyone was expecting heavy rain... BUT: I had no problem waiting for hours. It was worth it! I was dancing and singing all the time. In the end I was all dizzy and sweating, half-deaf and half-mute. Madonna was so natural. Her lovely smiles, her angry curses ("Motherfuckers, your singing's shit!") during the requested song... hey, it's just her Human Nature! Who asked for Dress You Up anyway? But I must admit, even I couldn't remember the lyrics. Besides, I think some people didn't understand they were supposed to sing WITH her.
Madonna entered the stage all Pimp-like. During Beat Goes On someone screamed "I love you" and she returned "I love you too" with a smile. I had to get used to the new version of Human Nature, but now I love it. Same with Vogue. For the Old School Part she needed a new jacket with long sleeves. Dancing and fooling around she turned 25 again.
The Gypsy Part touched my Austrian soul. La Isla Bonita heated the Danube Island up and You Must Love Me almost made me cry... a true gypsy queen! The Rave Part turned Like A Prayer into one of my favourite songs. When she sang Ray Of Light, the sound was horrible due to technical problems. I felt so sorry for her. But she kept on singing bravely and even laughed when she couldn't reach the microphone. "My hands are so cold, I have to clap them to warm them up" she said before the requested song. Give It 2 Me should have encouraged people to sing along again, but people hardly participated.
I just hope she reads this and gives Austria another chance to prove that we DO love her...we're just very shy!

Lisbon - 14 September - Lose the guitar
Hi there - went to the lisbon show (the one where she fell on her arse!) - my third Madonna
Tour to date, and unfortunately, my least favourite.
Not only did we get the obligatory late start (why ? Has she absolutely no respect
for her fans?), but a lot of the show seemed to be either rehashed
(4 Minutes / Candy
Shop / Ray Of Light) or hastily cobbled
together. Hung Up was shorn of anything that made
it a hit - a massively wasted song!
It certainly had it's moments - Like A Prayer was
stunning and The 80s section had an enormous sense of fun ,missing form most of the rest
of the show. La Isla Bonita (although a virtual
repeat of a previous performance) was nicely & appropriately updated
and You Must Love Me proved she can
actually sing when not grinding up against an amp .But overall - to quote herself
" I've seen it all before"
PS - It comes to something when one of the highlights in a Madonna show is a pre-recorded Britney Spears
PPS - Lose the guitar. It isn't you. Remember Pop?

Lisbon - 14 September - Kill the guitars
Hello!
I just come back from the Lisbon Show and I have to tell you that
our friend Axel from Berlin is absolutely right: We do not like
her Hard Rock versions neither the new Give
It 2 Me sound!
So, I pray to God, kill all the guitars she plays, cause she killed
too our delicious good feelings, especially Hung
Up!
For me, those screens are really amazing technology (we will never
forget that subway!!!) but the only Great Moments of the show are
Devil
Wouldn't Recognize You (Brilliant idea, great vocals, Gorgeous!!!!),
Beat Goes On
(party time), She's
Not Me (Funny Idea), Miles
Away and You
Must Love Me (Both intimate and touching)!!! La Isla Bonita and
Like A Prayer are
Deja vu (sound) as Candy
Shop choreographies.
Axel's right: Confessions
was the best 4ever in the world, and no time to prepare give us
one show not bad, not good, but coming from MADONNA that's not a
good sign!!!
We deserve better than that, cause the most of us are with her since
'Like A Virgin' Era, right?
But I loved the show, and I'll love to watch it over and over, if
I could, lol

Frankfurt - 09 September - The show is like a workout program
Hi everyone!!
I saw Madonna on Tuesday night the 9th in my hometown Frankfurt/M.,
and it was just amazing and a great experience! I was lucky to stand
in the 2nd Row, and to see Madonna soooooo close was just awesome
for me. Well I saw her with the Re-Invention
Tour in Paris, and 2 years ago in Hannover with her Confessions
Tour, always had a Seat Ticket. And this time to be in the thick
of it, gosh I will never forget. I'm still "Out of Order"
so to say, cause the Show is so exhausting, also for viewers!! It
took me the whole day - the day after - to come down really. Madonna
is full of Energy, no standstill 2 hours long, her Show is like
a Workout program, every 3 Minutes another scenery, very impressive.
Her quiet moments are very less, but lovely. My voice was very croaky
the rest of the week and eeeeeeverybody at work asked me "Are
you sick" and my answer for days was: Nooooooo I was at the
Madonna Concert . Okay, to everyone who is going to see the Sticky
& Sweet Show have fun and just enjoy ! Bye bye for now.....

Berlin - 28 August - She knows she can do it better!
Hello guys,
since you want fans to share their experiences, here is mine from
Berlin. It's a little heartbreaking for me to write this review
because I am a HUGE Madonna Fan- I have been into her and her music
since the Bedtime Stories
Era - and for the first time, I am disappointed. I have seen her
live in Arnhem 2004 for the Re-Invention
Tour and in Dusseldorf and Hannover 2006 for her Confessions
Tour. All 3 concerts were amazing, Re-Invention
was a lot of fun with many highlights and Confessions
Tour, to me, is the best thing she has ever done as for stage
shows. I remember seeing the Confessions
shows and how thrilled I was by everything, the beautiful videos,
the great song arrangements, the meaningful and profound ideas...
I loved it and I still get a faster heartbeat thinking about it
:-)
To me, she really was on top of her game with that tour. Music
Inferno was so much fun and infectious, You
Thrill Me was so beautiful and intimate, Like
A Virgin was sheer joy, the same is true for Lucky
Star and Hung Up,
Live To Tell was very
moving and Future
Lovers was just ecstatic... you get the picture, I loved Confessions.
I didn't expect Madonna to do something just as good, but hey, she
has set a standard. And Sticky & Sweet
just can't live up to it. Not even close.
When I read that she signed a contract for 4 tours in 10 years,
I knew, there was trouble ahead. How is anyone supposed to be creative
enough to live up to that? And sadly, that proved true with the
Sticky & Sweet Tour. The whole show felt like it was put together
in a rush, and you could tell it in so many places. Where we used
to get lovely videos with actors (or M herself) in it, now we got
many computed animated videos that were not very original. As for
the songs.... I WANT STUART PRICE BACK!! That man was a genius,
he helped Madonna reinvent her songs so that I loved them even more.
That new guy, in my opinion, just fucked the songs up. Into
The Groove, Music
were boring, you heard nothing but the same lame baseline, I was
shocked!! Throughout the whole show, with the sole exception of
the beautiful You
Must Love Me, there was a baseline that was a) way too loud
and b) way too similar. How could she let that happen? Then, as
if that wasn't bad enough, she picked up that fucking guitar for
like every 3rd song. Sorry, Madonna, but it's not cool, it only
ruins the classics!! Borderline
and Hung Up were horrible,
I pray to God she is over that silly guitar thing or I won't return
to her future shows. Doesn't anyone else feel the same way!?!? Where
the Confessions Tour
was light and flowed, Sticky & Sweet was
noisy and had very little flow, especially the last part was very
anti-climatic. Okay, I will admit that I was very up-close (8th
row from the satellite stage, without a hot ticket, yay!), maybe
the music sounded better further in the back. But overall, musically
the show was really disappointing.
Then, there weren't too many intimate or profound moments, things
felt too superficial for my taste. It was as if Madonna had to put
a tour together quickly and let other people make too many decisions,
the show didn't feel personal or like "Madonna".
Throughout, my huge enthusiasm became less and less and I didn't
know what was happening to me.
But let's take a look at the bright side: the Die
Another Day video was fantastic, She's
Not Me was very original, La
Isla Bonita was a lot of fun and You
Must Love Me, live for the 1st time, gave me goosebumps. So,
of course it wasn't all bad, but Madonna can do so much better and
she knows it!
Let's hope that she'll take more time for her next tour, that she'll
put more thought and love into it and that she leaves the mainstream
a little more behind. Please no more Timbaland and hiphop! Sorry
if this review is not too structured, but I've had a long day and
I needed to get this off my chest. :-) Still love her, though! :-)
