Chicago - 09 July - Absolutely amazing
Last night I saw Madonna's second show at the TD Banknorth Garden
in Boston. It was absolutely amazing! Madonna did a great job performing
and she looked relaxed and happy here in Boston. She kept saying
how she loved Boston and how relaxed and comfortable she felt. She
got Boston to chant I
Love New York and that's take something in Boston! The crowd
was wild and energetic and definite highlights of this show were
Like a Virgin, Ray
of Light and Sorry
and La Isla Bonita.
~ Dave Forrest Chicago - 14 June - Disco full force
I saw madonna at the united center just a few days ago. I spent
a lot of money for my ticket; it was about 360$, yep that's right.
Every penny was worth it. The dancers were amazing and the intro
was great - it's uncomparable. I lost my voice from screaming alot
but I don't care. The show was magical and disco full force. It
was so good that I'm going again to the monday show.
~ Alex Fresno - 06 June - The awesomest thing
I went to watch the Fresno Confessions Tour show on 6/6/6. It was
the first time I ever went to a Madonna show (I've only been a fan
for a year and two months). It was the awesomest thing ever. I already
knew what to expect cuz I have read everything about the show here
on Mad-Eyes.net. I have also
watched many pieces of the performances on Youtube.com. Having known
about the show didn't ruin it. In fact it made me more excited.
I loved all the performances. The cross on Live
To Tell, the horse on Like
A Virgin, the shiny lights on Lucky
Star, the gorilla-jumpers on Jump,
her cussing, everything. I especially loved the performances of
Isaac, Sorry,
I Love New York,
and Ray of Light.
Madonna was great with the guitar. She cussed several times during
I Love New York.
She actually said the "F" word, and she said the George
Bush thing. The only thing that was pathetic was that in the end,
when she wanted everybody to sing in Hung
Up, not many people were actually singing. I sang along to every
song on the show, including You
Thrill Me. She kept screaming and cussing at Fresno for not
singing along. In the end, she gave up and just finished the song.
Once again, this show was extremely awesome. It is the first Madonna
show I've attended, and I really hope it's not the last. I also
hope to get a better seat next time. My seat was a bit far from
the stage, but it was close to the runway. Next time I hope to get
a seat that's close to both the stage and the runway.
~ 'A Human Boy aged 16' Fresno - 05 June - An extension of Madonna trying to get people
to think
Here's a mini-review of last night's show... The Save
Mart Center in Fresno is definitely one of the best concert venues
I've ever been in. It is somewhat more intimate that other larger
stadiums... In fact, comparing it to the MGM Grand in Vegas, I don't
think I'll ever pick the MGM Grand Arena again to see a show - just
way too big!
Anyways, the show started sometime after 8.30pm... quite possibly
around 8.45. We were on the floor, in section 5, row A, seats 9&10...
Quite possibly one of the best seats in the house, being we were
only a few feet away from the center catwalk... Security was tight
and on the spot. Many people were seen kissing a** trying to stand
next to the catwalk... Those people were quickly sent back to where
they came from. Besides, those of us who paid good money for our
seats should not take a back seat to anyone who's trying to get
an "easy ride."
The opening
video sequence was breathtaking... the bass alone made the floor
vibrate....you'd think the horses were actually galloping through
the stadium. It was incredible. I was at the Re-invention show in
San Jose, and as memorable and haunting that The
Beast Within opener was, as well as the mind-blowing Vogue
number, nothing really compares to the Future
Lovers spectacular opening. I love the subliminal message throughout
the show that one should never underestimate girl power... and Madonna,
definitely let everyone know she had the reigns and was in complete
control for the next couple of hours.
We were
so close, we could see Madonna's eyeliner...her skin is like a porcelein
doll's... and I love the fact she is such a natural beauty- no plastic
surgery on that girl! It is so great to see Madonna age, because
she gets more beautiful with each passing year. The costumes in
the "Equestrian" section were quite inventive and provocative.
Every one of her dancers are beautiful in their own right. Cloud
is just so tight and ripped....!!! I don't think Madonna could have
picked a better opening song than Future
Lovers/I Feel Love especially with such strong vocals she executed.
She sounds so much better in person... even better than her studio
work. And I don't know why, but Madonna doesn't sound as strong
when she is performing on TV, than when you hear it live. Also,
the choreography beginning with Future
Lovers all the way through Jump
is intricate and top-notch.
Some of
Madonna's best quips and comments throughout the evening included:
"It's not Fres-no, it's Fres-yes!" to "Don't throw
sh** on my stage motherfu**ers! It's not nice! But, I'm not mad
at you, ok?" to "If you can't walk the walk, then shut
the f*** up!" to which she then added "Sorry, I'm really
swearing a lot tonight!!!" She also added, "Turn my mic
up!!!" when during Let
It Will Be her mic was so low, maybe even off, you couldn't
hear her for a line or two. She also commented on how we were the
best...and challenging each section to sing the loudest during Hung
Up. During the "Time goes by...so slowly" chant...she
yelled out "Keep singing, cuz I can do this all night you know?"
The only
thing that seemed a bit too much, was when Isaac
was blowing the "shofar/ram's horn" before the song that
bears his name began. The volume was so incredibly loud during that
part, it was ear piercing...finally, it seemed they adjusted his
mic, so you could actually enjoy his intro. Isaac also sang entirely
in tune. He truly has a remarkable voice. He sang on Isaac,
naturally, as well as Drowned
World and Paradise
(Not For Me). He and Madonna really blend quite nicely together.
During
I Love New York,
Madonna seemed to play nice and reverted back to the lyrics "Just
go to Texas, isn't that where they golf?" as opposed to her
quick Bush jab found in previous shows.
Like
It Or Not featured a video background of slithering snakes,
alternating with growing vines.
Erotica/You
Thrill Me was a highlight. It seems like with the past three
tours, she has added at least one unreleased/rare song to the setlist.
This is a song she definitely must consider releasing as a b-side
to the next single off of Confessions
The choreography was smooth and precise...but I'm almost sure that
at one point, she missed a count and made a premature move, to which
she looked at her dance partner and smiled as if thinking "Oops!"
Also, the
finale featured the gold mylar balloons that only fell in the lower
loge sections. The balloons that were situated above our heads on
the floor never materialized, although they were up there. You could
tell Madonna noticed this because she looked up when they didn't
fall on cue.
Madonna
is definitely a must-see performer, regardless of if you agree/disagree
with her political views...I believe most people miss her messages
completely. Live To Tell,
already the most controversial number in the show, is almost daring
people to ask themselves, "Do you know what's it is like to
be crucified and judged without love?" And when it is all said
and done, that's exactly what Madonna has felt during the most critical
times in her career. The Confessions Tour,
is just another extension of Madonna trying to get people to think-
to look at the bigger picture, all the while learning how to just
let it all go and have the time of your life.
~ C. Bryan Ross, Bakersfield, CA San Jose - 30 May - She is who
she is - she's her own special creation!
Before the orange, dusky glow of the California sunset gave way
to night, Energy Radio was hosting an on-air programme in front
of San Jose's HP Pavilion. Earlier, some fans were able to take
pictures with some of the Confessions Tour
dancers nearby. Madonna fandom seemed to have caught-on with fervor
tonight! Elsewhere, our party scrambled to get to the arena, have
dinner and find our seats just as Madonna's Disco Ball capsule was
descending to the stage from the heavens of the arena into a secure
spot on the end of the center catwalk.
Illuminated by white light and surrounded by sparkling lights reflected
off of the crystal mirror ball, Madonna took command of her performance
with a pumping, thumping FUTURE
LOVERS/I FEEL LOVE. She looked absolutely unreal (and amazingly
HEALTHY! Her thin features in her recent videos completely GONE).
Her voice - live - very strong. It's a moment of pure ATTITUDE.
Madonna is not going for the audience connection part just yet,
she is whipping her dancers in shape and slowly chanting her lyrics
around them as they crawl about on their hands and knees. The opening
of GIRLIE SHOW was only hinted
at. This is Madonna's full-on delivery.
Next, the hat comes off and Madonna immediately loosens up as the
familiar tunes of LIKE
A VIRGIN start pumping the audience up. The arena was roaring
with screams and just about everyone was up and dancing. She strutted
up the left-side catwalk and climbed on a black saddle that rotated
on it's platform like a merry-go-round. Her vocals were flawless
and she was having a great time. We were a few rows down from this
platform so we saw her up close. I've never seen her smile so much!
That was only the beginning of nearly 2 hours of Madonna-tainment.
If you have any doubts about paying good money for your tickets,
you'll see right away where your money went. The staging is massive.
There are less seats on the floor due to the set-up but those in
the rear floor will now have some of the best seats in the house!
The side sections get more than they would have from the Re-invention
show as well. Both side catwalks afford a few Madonna visits but
the dancers spend some quality time on them as well.
I was proud of the audience this first night (of two to be performed)
I watched the entire floor standing and dancing. The side-seated
sections were up (unlike last tour) and even the upper tiers were
all OUT of their seats! Last row, rear upper sections were active
as well. I didn't notice too many seated when the stage lights would
flash and illuminate them. San Jose was a Paris audience for ONE
night. Hell had frozen over!
Thanks to the Icon Presale, I was rewarded two front row loge seats
nearest the stage on the left side of the arena (as you're facing
the stage). Those further back toward the rear of the arena will
be glad to know that you'll see more of Madonna than we did at the
front of the arena! Is this a bad thing? ABSOLUTELY NOT. However,
try to see more than one show to get the full impact. Even the cheaper
seats I would have paid for had I known what I know now. However,
I don't feel as though the rear, behind-the-stage seats afforded
the best experience. Yet, Madonna did wave to all of them tonight
(on the left side - as you're facing the stage).
Nearly two hours flew by quicker than a ray-of-light. Madonna spares
no expense on this production - and she spares no time either. There
may be two slow songs, but don't think they'll give you much time
to leave your seat. This is one fast-paced show, get your drinks
BEFORE the show and DON'T LEAVE YOUR SEAT!
Did I miss HOLIDAY? No. The finale is unique for Madonna to me,
at least, because this was the first time her show built up and
CLIMAXED. This was the first time I heard LUCKY
STAR - the very first song that made me fall in love with her
- and it doesn't "end". Rather, the energy and music pump
up to a fever pitch and it welcomes in HUNG
UP - which explodes into action right before your very eyes.
I've never seen an audience cheer so loudly and be up on their feet
with such energy in my life. It's that good, everybody. DO NOT MISS!
~ Steve Las Vegas - 28 May
- It's A Show To See!
I'd like to share my experience from the 2nd Vegas show. It was
definitely more than I expected. I felt like having a deja vous!
I went to see the Re-invention
show in Vegas exactly 2 years ago! At that time I did not think
anything would surpass it. Well, I was wrong! Our lady still knows
how to push herself more and comes up with great ideas! The crowd
was for a typical Vegas audience a lot better than last time her
at this venue, which she even admitted during the show when she
said: "What a surprise?! Las Vegas is on fire!!!"
The show started with a 40 minute delay, which I think was caused
mostly by people still not being at their seats. Approximately 20
minutes before the start the crowd started applauding. I had no
idea what was happening. Then I noticed a blond girl walking towards
the front section with 3 bodyguards. It was Paris Hilton! She waived
at the audience a couple of times and then took a seat in about
7th row from the stage.
The show started of course with Future
Lovers and the equestrian footage. I could feel the excitement
in the air and from the people around me. I must say that I was
surprised how good Madonna sounded even when she sang the "I
Feel Love" lines, which are definitely some tough notes to
hit. I liked the "horse" choreography the dancers performed
during this number. Just the idea of a dance routine that would
look like horses marching might sound funny, but this was well done!
When Like a Virgin
started she addressed the audience saying: "Alright Las Vegas
are ready to ride with me? Are you ready?" She performed the
song same way she did in the other shows riding the poll saddle
with pictures of her MRI scans and X-rays of her broken bones.
During the beginning couple of notes of Jump
she thanked the audience for coming to the show: "Ladies and
gentlemen, thanks for coming to the show. Please extinguish your
cigarettes. For the next two hours I am the only one that will be
on fire!" Seeing dancers jumping on the bars and climbing the
cages during this song kept me thinking how dangerous it is to do
something like that during a live show. Just imagine performing
it during a rainy weather at an open stadium...
Live
to Tell was just simply beautiful and I could not get over the
fact that so many people in the media have misunderstood the whole
point and focused only on the "cross" thing! The message
was so clear with the footage of dying children in Africa and quotes
from the Bible.
Sorry
started the "PSB remix" lines and Madonna hugging and
kissing her dancers - symbolic interpretation of the song. The remix
that was played on the screens as an interlude was showing Madonna
from the Sorry video saying
"Don't speak, don't speak. I've heard it all before" with
mixed images of Nixon, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, and other politicians
including president Bush winking his eyes. Two dancers were in the
mean time fighting on the stage. The last images on the screen said:
"The audience is listening..."
Before Like it or
Not Madonna talked to the audience again: "Are you enjoying
the show? Do you want more? Let me see what I can do for you..."
The number reminded me of the BAOpen Your Heart
performance with the chair. It ended with a beautiful picture of
a red rose on the main screen.
During I Love NY
she again said the words about going to Texas and... you know. I
guess it's part of the show now. At the end of the number she said:
"Don't take it personally though." Ray
Of Light was a blast with her rocking the stage and dancers
performing another interesting dance routine.
I know I am going to get beat up for this, but for me the lowest
point of the show was Let
It Will Be. I am sorry, but I think her singing was a little
bit off during this number and it did not have the vibe I was expecting.
She talked to the audience a little bit again at the beginning of
Drowned World
as she was sitting down on the steps at the begging of the catwalk.
She said something about happiness. Unfortunately I don't remember
what exactly. Paradise
(Not For Me) had the most beautiful images on the screens -
petals falling from the trees.
The whole disco theme part of the show was my favorite! "Music
Inferno" was just amazing with her doing the John Travolta
dance and dancers on roller blades. It was so much fun! Erotica was more You
Thrill Me demo version, so many people were confused as they
did not recognize the song. During the first notes of La
Isla Bonita Madonna said: "Las Vegas it's time to put on
your dancing shoes!"
People got really on their feet during Lucky
Star that had images of stars and comets on the screen and of
course during the last song Hung
Up. Lady M teased the audience again: "Come on, this is
your last chance! The show is almost over!" and let some of
the people around the cat walk sing "the time goes by so slowly"
line in her mic. That was really cool! The show ended of course
with blue and pink balloons and confetti falling from the top.
I am glad I went to the second show. From what I've heard she was
having a lot more fun than the first night. I think she was surprised
that she did not get the "typical" Vegas audience that
does not give it up.
Thank you Vegas, thank you Madonna for a great evening!
~ Richard LA - 21 May -
Look out Travolta and Fonda!
Oh My God!!!!!!!!! Madonna was so amazing. I love the opening of
Forbidden Love
with the video of the W Magazine photoshoot. It was the FIRST time
I went to see Madonna live in Los Angeles, and what can I say but
that I will never forget the night Madonna made me dance. John Travolta
look out OUR queen will give you competition for the Saturday Night
Fever movie. At the age of 47 nobody can tell me that they were
not impressed with this woman. Oh, and that purple leotard she wore,
she made Jane Fonda want to work out more. LOL. However, the highlight
of the whole concert for me was when Madonna was strapped on the
cross singing Live To
Tell. No matter how you look at it the Catholic church should
know that there is freedom of speech in the United States. LONG
LIVE MADONNA!
~ Norma
LA - 21 May - Complete show rundown
Hey all. I just got back from opening night of the Confessions
Tour at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles. OMG!!! What
an amazingly awesome show!!! I had a great time, and it was just
a totally awesome night. After very little traffic, I arrived at
the venue around 5:45 or so. I met up with some friends and we just
sort of hung out at the Forum parking lot. We heard Madonna rehearsing
a couple of songs including Live
to Tell, Jump, La
Isla Bonita, and Lucky
Star. Her vocals sounded fierce. We saw all the media arriving
and taking fan interviews. When I went inside, there was a completely
eclectic group of people. As Rosie O'Donnell was spotted taking
her seat, the crowds cheered. When I got to my seat, a good 60%
of the Forum was still empty. I heard that the traffic was really
bad and that people were still on their way to the Forum. No worries,
Madonna decided to start the show a little later than planned, around
8:50 pm. From where I was sitting we could see Monte Pittman (Madonna's
guitar instructor) setting up the final touches for the band. Also,
I got to see my cutie keyboardist Stuart Price, who is nothing short
of amazing, setting up. What a hottie! And then suddenly its lights
out! As we begin to hear Madonna's pre-recorded voice accompanying
exclusive footage of her W Magazine photo shoot with Steven Klein.
Here is a complete rundown of the concert.
Future
Lovers/I Feel Love (intro): Madonna is not actually onstage
during the beginning of this segment, but the video compiled from
her W Magazine shoots was very artistic and beautiful. She emerges
from the 2 million dollar disco ball encrusted with Swarovski crystals
as it begins to form a lotus flower. This performance of Future
Lovers intermixed with lyrics from Donna Summer's dance hit,
'I Feel Love' was just the type of opening their tour needed. Not
as dramatic an opening as the Reinvention
Tour, but just as beautiful.
Get
Together: Madonna walks from the main catwalk towards the stage
to start this number. As her vocals get stronger and stronger, she
emerges with a sudden burst of energy and a smile on her face. This
is the first of many gorgeous smiles she gives the audience throughout
this tour. As a fan, not only has she never looked or sounded better,
but it seems as though she has become more relaxed and happier on
stage. Then they break out into similar choreography from the Music
as performed during the Reinvention
Tour.
Like
a Virgin: She brings back this oldie but goodie in a brand new
way. Stuart did a remarkable job remixing this classic as we see
the return of Dita as she climbs on the mechanical saddle and asks,
"Do you want to take a ride with me?" She continues to
go through what is essentially an entire yoga routine on the saddle
in the air as X-rays of her broken bones from her birthday horse-riding
accident are projected on the screen. In a way, she is equating
her growing obsession with horses to experiencing it all for the
very first time.
Jump:
I absolutely was blown away by the energy in this performance. She
essentially turned this into gymnastics routine on Red Bull. Her
dancers were nothing short of incredible. Swinging, swaying, and
jumping from the gigantic jungle gym that was set up on the main
catwalk. Suddenly, the music slows to an interlude of Live
to Tell and Isaac
as Madonna's dancer, Daniel "Cloud" Campos begins to confess
about the abuse he experienced as a child. He depicts the abuse
and his response through interpretive dance. Then another dancer
shares their history of gang violence and depicts his confession
through dance. It is actually quite profound and remarkably honest.
Live
to Tell: Suddenly the lights are focused on center stage as
Madonna emerges hung on a cross inspired by the Salvador Dali painting.
There is a very dramatic expression of sorrow on Madonna's face
as a closeup of a tear falling down her check is beamed onto the
huge screens on stage. As this continues, images of children orphaned
due to AIDS and poverty across Africa are beamed onscreen. It is
quite a poignant and heartbreaking moment in the show. It ends with
the website www.raisingmalawi.org on screen.
Forbidden
Love: She sings this ballad beautifully as Mihran and another
dancer engages in a highly choreographed hand dance depicting their
love for one another as the cross stands in the background watching
the whole thing. Quite powerful.
Isaac:
Yitzhak Sinwani emerges onstage dressed in Middle Eastern clothing
and begins the opening chant to this song. The lights are then focused
on a Middle Eastern women covered from head to toe in a traditional
burka flailing about trapped in a cage, depicting the oppression
faced by women in various parts of the world. As the song continues
the gate is opened and the dancer strips herself of the burka and
proceeds to do some sort of harem dance depicting her newfound freedom.
Yet another powerful image in the Confessions tour.
Sorry:
Another cage is brought out and an extremely energetic group of
dancers perform sorry almost exactly like the music video. They
use the Pet Shop Boys remix. Images of gasoline and refineries are
shown on the screens throughout this performance.
Like
it Or Not: This performance is absolute Madonna!!! She is so
confident as she works the runaway and the center catwalk with a
chair reminiscent of Open Your Heart. Her vocals are yet again remarkable.
Sorry
(video interlude): Madonna pre-recorded the "Don't say forgive
me" portion of this song to a fierce backbeat as images or
various world leaders are shown giving speeches. Closeups of Madonna
giving the finger similar to the Sorry video are shown as the words
"Don't talk. Don't Speak" emerge on the screens. This
video is nothing short of fierce. The lights and the screen go out
as the words "The audience is listening" come into view.
The video ends with George Bush's eyes constantly blinking as though
he is confused. Quite effective. br>
I
Love New York: Madonna rocks the heck out of this song as the
lighted outline of the NY skyline is in the background. She does
her best on the guitar and rocks out like she is Pearl Jam or something.
While singing "Los Angeles is for people who sleep", she
quickly smiles and says "but not you guys!!!" Quite a
rocking performance all in all.
Let
it Will Be: Similar to her Coachella performance but way more
energy and karate kicks!!! I loved watching her get into it when
she screams, "Just watch Me Burn!!!" Fierce!
Drowned
World/Substitute for Love: Beautiful and very acoustic. Her
vocals are surprisingly strong after a series of high energy dance
numbers. She looked stunningly gorgeous.
Paradise
(Not for Me): Yitzhak Sinwani joins her again for this acoustic
guitar version. The flower garden beamed on the screens behind them
made for hauntingly beautiful imagery.
Music
(Disco Inferno Mix): Madonna emerges and pays homage to John Travolta
dressed in a fashionably sleek version of his white suit and dances
the heck out of this song. The accompanying remix really shows off
Stuart's talents.
Erotica
/ You Thrill Me:
The suit comes off and Madonna pays homage to ABBA wearing a modern
version of the white, lavender, and pink leotard worn by ABBA when
their toured in 1979. One of my favorite performances, I just feel
that the You Thrill Me
lyrics were morphed a little too much. I think it would have been
better if she stuck to Erotica
by itself.
La
Isla Bonita: Her mic didn't pick up the first three lines of
the song, and she was noticeably upset, but the problem was quickly
taken care of as her crisp vocals could soon be heard. The song
was remixed in a very over the top Miami Sound Machine sort of way
with a killer dance number. She sang and danced her heart out on
this one.
Lucky
Star: She spends most of her time dancing on the catwalks throughout
this classic which is given an update with elements of Hung
Up remixed into it to modernize it a bit. She danced her heart
out.
Hung
Up: Madonna disappears for a bit and returns in leotard and
jacket to perform this closing number. Given all the energy that
was dispersed throughout the setlist, it is remarkable that they
perform with such vigor. No major changes from the Grammy Performance,
just remixed a little more. She then gives the audience a chance
to sing along with her. The crowd knew it was the closing of the
show so most of them were not singing with her. She yells at the
audience, "This is shit. Get up and sing muthafuckas!!!"
The crowd was eating it up. And before you knew it golden balloons
fell from the ceiling onto the floor and the concert had come to
a close. The words "Have you confessed?" appear on screen.
AMAZING!!!
Madonna, I heart you.
~ Neerav.
LA - 23 May - Queen of M
My friend and I went to see Madonna show last night, It was fun
to watch and have a good time dancing.
We're in the loge area (5 row V 3-4) almost get close up to Madonna
Stage.
We liked "Future Lovers", "Get Together", "Sorry"
with her video screen about Political, "Live To Tell"
About Childrens with AIDS, "Like a Virgin", "I Love
NY", "Music" and "Hung Up". It was a beautiful
on her video screen. She's got a great strong body and beautiful
hair too! We hailed to her as the Queen of 'M'!. Thank You Madonna
For a Good Time!
~ Carlo
LA - 23 May - 3 times Madonna
Wow! Never did I think I would see Madonna 3 times in one month...
from Coachella to opening night, and now to her second night in
Los Angeles, the crowd was up and jumping again! Here in Los Angeles
we are getting a lot of positive feedback - heck even the conservative
Orange County gave us a great review! There was a lot of energy
tonight once again and a great enthusiastic crowd singing away.
I think I Love New York was still one of the best - I love the anti-
Bush, thanks America for the freedom of speech! But the number that
still rocked was Music. As Madge tells us in the beginning of the
show, "Tonight the show is just beginning. Here's to hope for
Moscow and Japan! (source: Tegan)
LA - 21 May - Loved
all the new numbers
The show was great -- probably comparable in quality to The
Reinvention Tour. I was worried that the concentration on the
new album would make it a drag -- but frankly I loved all the numbers
from the new album... the definite highlight would have to be for
me SORRY, JUMP
(amazing) and I LOVE
NEW YORK -- along with the opener FUTURE
LOVERS (with a surprisingly great vocal performance of I FEEL
LOVE) and also GET TOGETHER
which is just a great song. LIKE
A VIRGIN was a blast, and some parts were extremely beautiful
(LIVE TO TELL - you forget
she's on the cross - she sings it beautifully, PARADISE
NOT FOR ME surprisingly effective and emotional), and also DROWNED
WORLD. I have to say that last segment of the show was the most
disappointing, I felt LA
ISLA BONITA fell flat, as did --- and I can't believe I am saying
this -- but HUNG UP -- didn't
quite have the impact I would have hoped from this amazing song.
It lacked a sense of energy for me. But, overall, so satisfied,
and even at $350+ - well worth it. (source: Troy)
LA - 21 May - Good dreams tonight
Oh hell! the show ROCKED! she was flawless. I love the new versions
of the songs. The political stuff was necessary so I forgave it.
She can still dance, she sings better, looks hella good. what else
can I say. sigh... I'll have good dreams tonight. :) (source: Richard)
LA - 21 May - Kicking ass once again!
What a great fu**ing show! She kicks ass once again!! You all better
be ready to "jump" and boogie woogie, she put on a great
show (as always). My favorite number - and I think everyone will
agree with me - is the Music
number, complete disco era! Roller skates and awesome costumes.
I Love New York was
another great number, Lucky
Star was there, Live To
Tell was there, a great remake of Erotica
showed up... Ugh, but no Holiday..
shocker! But we danced to some great "oldies"... Like
a Virgin! This show is very 80's themed with great lighting,
sounds, dance, and a disco fever kinda feel. To those who passed
on this show - you're gonne miss out! Ok, now I'll give other people
a chance to write.... (source: Tegan)
